On todayโs episode of Anupama that telecast on 31st August, it was a mixed bag consisting of all the emotions as an evergreen couple faced a new threat from someone altogether and how they tackled made hearts melt. With a heart-wrenching storyline and brilliant performances, this episode of Anupama was a sweet reminder why people like watching it.
The episode starts with Anupamaa (played by Rupali Ganguly) struggling to accept the sudden turns life has taken. Her rock all these years, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) doesnโt seem to be present with her lately. She is just a little disheartened after work and the constant travel has put some strain on their marriage but she does understand his responsibilities.
Anupama has made all the attempts to keep their family going but after solving everything, it looks like something is extremely wrong. She manages to exchange a few hello and hihi words with Anuj, but their conversations mostly get cut off by phone calls or some urgent meeting that he has to go deal with. Though, her gut feeling does tell her that Anuj is not what he seems and here she drops the matter sensing maybe time will make him speak freely out.
At the same time, Anuj is so distracted here that we see his work pressures. He is a little stressed out over an important business deal and it was starting to show. Anuj is trapped between his work commitment and feeling for Anupama. He carries this weight with him and it shows on his face as he tries to juggle every possible thing without troubling Anupama.
Things just get a little crazier for Anuj as he faces competition with an all-new business rival who is set on destroying him. Now with the rivalry, there was some extra tension in the storyline as Anuj gets caught up in a corporate politics game. No matter how much Anuj tries to make things right, the situation unfurls which further spirals him into a startling anxiety of what lies ahead.

There is something about Anupama that relaxes and encourages Anuj to battle against the odds. They come in and swim together over issues at work, Anupama providing her own charm to the solution. This level of collaboration doesnโt merely build and deepen the bond between them, but also underscores how necessary it is for a relationship to be successful.
The Shah family dynamics continue to shift back at the Shah household. Meanwhile, the series is also brewing its own pot of trouble for Vanraj (played by Sudhanshu Pandey) and Kavya (Madalsa Sharma). In this episode, however it is Anupama-Anuj who are in the line of sight and rest of the Shah family members come literally to circle round them from every possible angle offering different kinds of support- each one their own.
This episode also highlights the increasing closeness of Anupama with her daughter Pakhi, played by Muskar Baba. Pakhi, witnessing the changes in her parents too has evolved a lot and takes over responsibility for managing the household leaving no stone unturned to help ease the burden of Aisha. It is a nice, extra layer for the episode and fits in well with the whole โfamily sticks togetherโ theme.
Until, naturally the cliffhanger ending leaves everyone needing to see more. Really Anuj and anupama everything back to normal then a new problem will happen that ask them they realize the mistake again. The last scene has Anuj gets a phone call and it could be life-changing as well, professionally or personally.identical lines.
