The episode will start with Lakshmi still doing everything possible to her side mended and repair the strained ties between the Oberoi family. She is the anchor to everyone they know but a new problem tests her patience and resolve. A critical deal falls apart at the last minute for one of the set-back riddled family businesses.
Lakshmi, the one who had been keeping Rishi afloat all this time with various business problems, takes that knock on her chin for once in quite literally. She knows how much the deal meant to Rishi and our family. However, the more she thinks on it, the less confident in her ability to hold together family life and whether or not she really is cut out for all this increased responsibility.
At the same time, Rishi has to make a choice that might be able to pull him out of his business tragedy and hit on something private at an expense. A blast from the past presents Rishi with an escape, but teaming up might involve shady individuals. While this decision could get the family back on its feet financially, it may cost them everything they believe in โ values which Rishi and his family have followed all their lives.
Lakshmi is then approached for advice by Rishi who wrestles with this same decision which results in him asking her what he should do. Lakshmi is frank and caring talking to Rishi, reminding him of the need to remain loyal to your principles when things are at their worst. Struck by Lakshmiโs steadfastness and insight, Rishi has a change of heart but it is also detrimental to their values as he finally learns that taking shortcuts will not create the relationships they need in order for them to heal.
Malishka, on the other hand, sees an opportunity in this crisis and has been trying to create a rift between Rishi Lakshmi for some days. She subtly influences Rishi into following suit, playing on his fears and insecurities. In the face of disaster, Malishka urges Rishi to ally himself with unpredictability and deceit for his company, not just survival.
Yet Rishiโs base is more stable: his love for Lakshmi eventually overcomes Malishka. He realises that she is just trying to twist her in and sticking with the beliefs he and Lakshmi hold. The step further cements his bond with Lakshmi and opens the path for a future fight against Malishka.
And as the episode goes on, Lakshmiโs faith in herself to support Rishi begins to waver. She understands her strength is neither in solving all the problems alone nor by keeping herself down but to just be with Rishi and with his family, come what may. It also makes her resolute as she learns about what Rishi has decided to do and they regain normalcy in their relationship due to the notion that once again, there is absolutely a good chance between them.
The episode ends on a promising note with Lakshmi and Rishi together looking forward to making it through whatever difficulties that may come their way. Though the Oberoi family may have their hands full, this bond between Lakshmi and Rishi will only get stronger leaving viewers in awe of some drama and dil maange more moments throughout all episodes.
