The Oberoi family, on the other hand, is in more of a problem these days. This is the main point where Rishi (Rohit Suchanti), looks very disturbed about his relation with Lakshmi. He can tell he screwed up but all you ever really see is his face looking pained and trying to fix it. Unfortunately, Rishi is probably too late in his attempts to mend the rift with Lakshmi as she grows more determined than ever to take charge of her fate.
Oberois who have been famous for their bond finds themselves in an uneasy spot, too sensitive says its beam. This event sends a wave of angst amongst the family and especially their parents Neelam & Virendra; worried about their reputation back home in India, due to what has transpired. Now Neelam is put in a difficult situation, should she let her daughter leave if Lakshmi decides to go or push the Sindhu Haveli legacy on this one for the sake of family?
Throughout the episode tensions are palpable, boiling over when Rishi finally confronts Lakshmi about her decision. During a heated argument, Rishi begs Lakshmi to give their relationship another chance. He owned up to his mistakes and told her he was willing to change, but Lakshmi still wasnโt convinced. Pain is etched across her face as she listens to Rishi talk, but it must be pretty clear even overseas at this point that Deepika will do whatโs best for herself.
Itโs all well-acted too and is easily one of the most emotional moments in an episode that with its back story at least means this pair have to really sit down together for goodรผrn. Lakshmi gives it to him plain as day: you donโt own me, i wonโt buy what youโre selling. While Rishi is now having to come to terms with the fact that he may have lost his woman by means of his own hands.
Lakshmi reveals her choice in the final moments of the episode She tells Rishi crying that she will leave Oberoi house. It is a process about her regaining herself and creating something that allows her to be present. Nevertheless, she smiles at Rishi and says that this is not the end of their story but a step in her healing.
The family has a range of reactions to Lakshmiโs decision. Virendra accepts the burden Shraddha has volunteered to carry. โNeelam, on the other hand cannot bear what her sister has done so she does not endure it but struggles with how things have turned out and will remain forever more a prisoner of hope for BOTH sisters sakeโฆ The episode finishes with a bittersweet tone and as Lakshmi walks away, it makes the audience think of what is in store for her and Rishi.
