In the latest Bhagya Lakshmi episode, aired on 12th October 2024, fans were treated to a series of heartwarming and intense moments. The episode took a deeper look into Rishi’s inner turmoil as his feelings for Lakshmi continued to grow stronger, while Malishka’s insecurities also started surfacing, setting the stage for some serious drama in the upcoming episodes.
The episode starts with Rishi introspecting about his bond with Lakshmi. While he married her out of a sense of duty and family pressure at first, feelings for his bride have been blossoming since. This episode consists of a few moments in which Rishi is almost silent and his love for Lakshmi dawns on him. He spends all of his time wondering about her, worrying if she is ok and what she might be doing.
Rishi’s internal conflict is beautifully presented through his talks with his best friend Ayush. He opens up to Ayush about his mixed feelings for Lakshmi. Ayush has always been there for Rishi and helps him understand what his heart says. This scene brings some of the emotional aspect into Rishi’s role, leaving us feeling a little sorry for his situation.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi is still the great supportive woman we know her to be. While faced with several difficulties, she still wants to play the part of Rishi’s wife. Later in the episode, Lakshmi assists rishi with a few critical family matters, which eventually brings the two of them closer.
This is when we see how Lakshmi is naturally kind and giving. Her efforts come not at an expectation to return her gestures, but it just wins over Rishi more. The palpable emotional connection between the two is obvious and it is apparent that they are getting comfortable with each other every passing day.
On one hand Rishi has fallen in love with Lakshmi and on the other Malishka feels that Rishi is drifting away from her. For Malishka that has always been so threatening but now that she is seeing Rishi showering love on his wife her insecurity is increasing. Here, her jealousy and frustration shines.
Malishka confronts Rishi who insists he has no idea why he is behaving differently. She appears to be stiff-necked on him and blames that he did not request once before concerning LakshmI. Rishi, the only one not deaf to listen, tries to pacify Malishka; she is dogged. It appears Malishka’s insecurity and the fear of losing Rishi will get her to venture into dark territory in the coming episodes.
On the other side, we see how family elders Virendra-Neelam discuss the tension between Rishi-Lakshmi and Malishka. Virendra, who is always fond of Lakshmi, is now glad to see how Rishi’s impression towards the other woman is shifting. He feels that she is the perfect fit for Rishi and only their love will be a boon to the family.
Neelam, on the other hand, is still figuring it out. However, she still fears how Malishka might end up when Rishi really marries Lakshmi (as much as she respects Lakshmi with all the world-feelings). The family is complex and Neelam’s protectiveness for her son.
Towards the end of the episode, the mini war against Rishi, Lakshmi, and Malishka takes an ugly turn. The eternal triangle is now complete, leading to an inevitable showdown of emotions between Rishi’s intensifying passion for Lakshmi and the desperation of Malishka.
