In todayโs episode of Bhagya Lakshmi (13th September 2024), we witness intense emotions as Lakshmi finds herself at a major crossroad, torn between love and family loyalty. As events unfold, the tension keeps building, making it an episode that you wonโt want to miss.
The central point on which the family drama rotates is Lakshmi, who all but needs to wear a cone around her neck and prance about doing business. She is confused between Rishiโs love blossoming in one corner and her duty towards saas-saurs. This has always been a struggle of hers, but here the conflict is escalating.
The episode kicks off with Rishi opening up to Lakshmi that he has feelings for her. This moment is quite emotional, where Rishi says that he could not have been living without her in his life. Things are complicated for Lakshmi, then โ her heart belongs to Rishi but she feels a real sense of duty towards Rekha and the rest of his family
Malishka becomes a green eyed monster and starts seeing red while observing how much Lakshmi is enjoying the company of Rishi. Poor Malishka realized for the first time that according to her, Rishi was mine but he most certainly did not feel so. It is quite obvious that she feels jealous, and when Rishi falls in love with Lakshmi then Ragini confronts him about this.
Rishi remains strong in a heated confrontation with Malishka, stating Lakshmi has an important place somewhere in his life. This makes Malishka feel more insecure, and she is determined to create roadblocks for Lakshmi.
Rishi needs to figure out himself, and Lakshmi is under family pressure. And Karishma and Sonia, who are always looking for an opportunity to blame Lakshmi, say outright they donโt want anything good happening in the life of mehars. They feel that having Lakshmi around has messed up the family equation and ask whether she can get lost from Rishi.
Of course, Lakshmi doesnโt react immediately and bursts with rage. Of course, her adhoori shadi was not going to fly for long and Ishita knew if she acted now responsively or impuls-ily it would have repercussions on the relationships in Oberoi Khandaan! And so this brings her to the tough decision at hand, only it leaves a heavier heart and an even harder choice.
So now, the crux of this episode becomes Lakshmi dealing with her internal issues. She is unable to resist the pull of Rishi and also admires his honesty. But on the other hand she knows what all sacrifices did for the Oberoi family and she does not want to let them down.
Now torn between her feelings, Lakshmi consults with sister Shalu. Shalu reminds her that she has to be true but follow your heart. While this advice strikes a chord with Lakshmi, it provides no relief when taking the decision.
However, her decision will only lead to more tension in the upcoming episode because it might affect Lakshmi and Rishiโs relationship. It can be said that this will change the story in a big way as Malishka will conspire against Lakshmi leaving no option for the Oberoi family but to compel her.
Meanwhile, Rishi is hell-bent on winning over Lakshmi whereas challenges just got a lot challenging for the two. Malishka getting over-possessive and the family not liking it will be a constant part of upcoming episodes.
