She opens up to her friend, admitting that she misses them and is confused about why they are growing distant. Savi is well drawn, and we feel for her as she tries to work it out. All she wants is for her family to be happy and yet, there are things that are out of her reach.
This episode uses its narrative to demonstrate the long-term effect of parental disagreements on children, with Savi as an example. More than anything, her character symbolises the eternal struggle between parents. They’ve done a fabulous job of showing Savi’s rollercoaster ride; she’s now one of the more believable characters.
And just as the emotional whirlpool between Sai and Virat starts brewing, Pakhi surprisingly comes on Sai’s side. Pakhi and Sai already have a complicated equation between them, while she has also recognised the heartache the latter is going through and decides to be soft towards her. Sai as well as the audience are shocked to see this gesture, for we all have got Pakhi wrong in the past.
In this episode, one can already see the growth of Pakhi as a character. She sets aside her existing enmity with Sai and in a moment where she is most vulnerable calls out to him directly. Her support breathes new life into the narrative, serving as a reminder that – in moments of conflict – compassion can still find its way to bind divides. This encounter ends with the viewer asking whether this signals a new chapter of understanding between the pair.
This episode revolves around the internal tussle for Virat. Sai is vocal about her feelings, while Virat fails to express his emotions. It has not because the silence is from an inability to face the weight of his decisions, rather than indifference. He is torn between the duty of a cop and the loyalty to his family or, Say for that matter.
Vira continues to be annoyed during the episode and gradually figures out that keeping mum is only losing Sai completely. His actions reveal his emotional turmoil, yet he still finds it difficult to put into words. This episode does a brilliant job of illustrating how men and yes, even the Prime Minister have a hard time opening up about what they feel, no matter just how much their living situation has got to them.
