The inner struggle of the character is depicted very well as a difficult choice between family loyalty and personal integrity. In fact, this quandary is so relevant not just to the central episode but even symbolises a sort of mantra as we recognize from Jhanak time and again about personal growth.
Meanwhile, Riyaโs brother Ankit and his wife Priya face weekends filled with increasing tension. In frustration, Ankit takes out his work stress on Priya. The more they argue the more obvious it is that problems between them have never been settled, instead just laying dormant. Priya, frustrated with the behaviour of only hearing what she wanted at times and felt underappreciated is at her breaking point on fighting for their relationship or moving on.
The argument between Ankit and Priya is something thatโs been going on forever, uniting two otherwise dissimilar characters in their shared dysfunctional communication. This part feels all too real for many viewers. How their disagreement is presented felt real and paints a bittersweet image of life as married people. In typical fashion, it has fans asking whether the pair can patch things up or if this is beyond repair.
Since She Cannot Decide On Her Own, Then Instead Of Herself Riya Takes His Best Friend Meera. Riya finds solace as she turns to her only constant support system, Meera. A pillar of stability Raqesh hasnโt been for Riya and this shatters his ego like never before. But then, Meera will listen to Riya without a single word of complaint (again) as Riya pours out everything that is bothering her and solves all the issues by speaking to her kindly during situations and reminding her how powerful she can be.
Her part in this episode reminds us that it sometimes takes your best mate to help you through those times. One of the highlights from this episode was a heartening and believable conversation between Riya & Meera, which for me conveyed warmth in these chaotic times as well as hope.
Meera is the friend that we all need when life gets tough. In the middle of all transferral drama;the comforting and real conversation that Riya had with Meera brought a sense-tension relief amidst chaos.
Professionally, things get tougher for the family business as a major deal falls through at literally the last minute. Mr. Sharma, Riyaโ father is exhilarated by the news and starts doubting his own leadership qualities. It really dents his confidence, and he has a lot of trouble dealing with the loss.
But this is the least of Riyaโs concerns as it does give her an opening to prove herself. Our protagonist Riya on the other hand, is initially reluctant but then chooses to do something and comes up with a new strategy in hopes of salvaging the business. It also presents Riya in a new light and opens her character to more airtime (and we love seeing it) Ready for you some business woman of the yearโฆrightsizing.
Neal Matchewan, 21 and a recent dropout of high-school in Pikangikum (a town with worse internet than the rest of Canada), sits back while someone else is confronted by their past. We also see Riya preparing herself to tell her parents what she has found and then the episode ends, leaving everyone in suspense. In the meantime, The fate of Ankit and Priyaโs relationship as well as family business are undetermined.
The cliffhanger means fans wonโt look forward to the next episode as it will resolve these things. Juicy family drama, or will things get healed for once and all by Riyaโs hard confrontation? Toor Murad has his own troubles not the least of which is his desire to get even with assistant Alp Navruz while Karaca struggles to choose a career in medicine or music.
