As the wedding proceeds, Appu tells her friend Jhanak to come and sit next to her although Jhanak is reluctant. The celebration is cut short as a few police officers turn up enquiring about Lalan Chatterjee. This sudden presence of the police alarms Appu and he asks Lalan for clarification. Lalan takes on the police, who shock all when they produce an arrest warrant for Lalan. alleging he and two others participated in a recent robbery. But his family, shocked and incapable of believing the claims โ how could this woman be who she said she was? Shubha takes the side of Lalan in some soliloquy, she does not seem to buy that a criminal mastermind would be unknown.
Neither Jhanak, nor Lalanโs sister can believe the accusations and they ask for proof from police. But the officers insist they have proof that leaves no room for doubt. A hurt and feeling betrayed Lalan slaPs Shubha questioning his role in the conspiracy. He wears an innocent look on his face, for the umpteenth time and Shubha keeps pretending to be relaxed obviously they both know what lies beneath is a boiling pot of tension. Amid growing tensions, the local community has also warned of a protest strike if Lalan is arrested by police. In a thrilling episode, Lalan applies vermilion on Appuโs forehead and is ready to be taken into the police custody. Shubha had tried to plot against them but his plans fail and he is able do nothing, as marriage occurs. Lalan, supported by Aniruddha, yet another family member denies all allegations. Jhanak reluctantly agrees to support him in this and goes along with Lalan at the police station.
And the precap suggests that things will take a turn for worse as Shubhaโs plot to get Rythunagaram exposed is going to come out in open. It seems like the cops are in no way going to let things settle and rather follow up onward from where they left on Lalanโs wedding day with much more of Shubhaโs conspiracy being strung into light.
