The same Pragya and Abhi who have tried to hold their family together, are now caught in the midst of things balancing out between their own daughters while tackling a touch-me-not situation.
Pragya says the differences will only cover if we speak them out, they should be clam with prachi and Rhea. According to her, the resolution of their problems is in communication. However, Abhi is hesitant. He is scared that it will result in a fight, and only serve to further exacerbate the problem, leading to more miscommunications and missed connections. On top of all that, this difference in opinion among Pragya and Abhi makes it more intricate as both try to figure out a way which might only bring peace back to their family.
The tension in the Mehra household starts to show as the episode plays on. As of now, it will be Prachi and Rhea who want to do their work while they break into each other. Where Rhea thinks Prachi is fighting her for attention, and Prachi believes that Rhea does not care to learn about or see beyond herself. Those continuing disagreements have led to a poisonous environment inside the house, not just between them but with every single other person.
Complicating things further is Aliya, with her own mission to accomplish. She tries to play her card and turns Prachi against Rhea. Aliya does not help by subtly stirring up sibling rivalry that is sure to soon rip the sisters apart, injuriously. It remains a chilling reminder of the horrifying impact she has had upon the family over those years always on hand to wreak havoc for her own personal gain.
Meanwhile, fight between Pragya is also shown being disturbed. Her love is pulled towards both of her daughters, and at the same time she cannot see any amisdt trying to keep them all family. Hence, Pragya’s inner space is well displayed here as she considers how if not all then some of her previous mistakes could have caused the present event. She fears that she wouldn’t be able to avert the inevitable and burgeoning chasm between Prachi-Rhea due to which they’ll get estranged from one another for forever.
In an emotional moment, Pragya shares her sorrow and seeks guidance from a friend whom she treats like a grandmother. Dadi tells Pragya that she has always been her family’s back bone and should trust in herself. This conversation gives Pragya a hope to take the bull by its horn and try uniting her daughters while battling all odds for it.
But here too, Abhi has his own emotions to deal with. He will feel heartbroken seeing yet another battle between Prachi and Rhea, being unaided to prevent the same. This is an exhausted Abhi, who has resigned to the fact there is no way he can stop his family from falling apart. He knows depending upon what he does in the next few days may decide whether his daughter and granddaughter have a future.
To everyone’s surprise, he finally makes his own decision. He anyways plans to talk both Prachi and Rhea separately with a hope of gaining perspective from their side also he will try reaching some middle ground. This is Abhi’s moment and it’s the turning point of this episode. It gives an impression to the audience that he has decided no matter what, there shall be a solution but as a gentleman and father fencing each other.
