In the latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya, aired on 13th September 2024, viewers witnessed a rollercoaster of emotions as Pragya finds herself caught between two challenging situations. With tensions running high in the Mehra household, the episode is filled with emotional twists, making it a must-watch for fans of the show.
The episode starts with Pragya aka Sriti Jha, who is finding it difficult to keep Abhi aka Shabir Ahluwalia safe from the constant family problems. So he finally gets the calculation as, if we consider earlier episodes it can be witnessed how Abhi has been into varied issues subjected to him; both personally & professionally. The current stress has had a bad effect on his health too. Pragya, in her usual way of being the faithful wife, takes on herself to absorb the burden and save him from more troubles.
But things come to a head when Pragya overhears Alia and Tanu talking. The two women are conspiring once again and targeting Abhi to now plan chaos amid the Mehra family. Pragya understands that taking them on means more opportunities to harass the family, but maintaining silence could mean bigger troubles. The burden of this choice lies heavily on Pragya and one can feel how torn she must be feeling.
On the other side of the Mehra family, Ranbir and Prachi are in a bad condition. Prachi will also maintain a distance from Ranbir in the upcoming episodes because of misunderstandings and because some people are creating differences between them. In this episode, they explore their internal emotional turmoil as Prachi argues with Ranbir about his recent actions.
Ranbir apologizes to her but Prachi gets upset. Ranbir tries very hard to explain himself, this is where things get emotional and a crying fight between the two. This heartbreaking sequence begs the question if their friendship can ever be restored. Ranbir makes an attempt to solve the problem but it appears Pragya may not believe him if true and this difference hinting towards their strained relationship ahead.
On the other hand, things are back to being ugly between Alia and Tanu as they plan their next sinister step. They are planning to cut him down by turning key family members against Abhi. For this, they are planning the construction of a fake evidence making it appear as if Abhi is anything but virtuous and all he has accomplished can be shown in bad light.
Pragya is always a step behind, she can sense that something is wrong but cannot stop them as they know it. The episode concludes with Meher trying to figure out if she should confront Alia and Tanu or stay mum about the same, so as to overcome all this drama.
In another part of the episode, Pallavi, Ranbirโs mother, is getting more worried about her family. She knows everything is falling apart, but thereโs nothing she can do about it. Pallavi gives voice to the sort of pressure that family elders often feel at times when familial relationships are fraying.
She calls Ranbir and tells him that his troubles with Prachi should be treated carefully. She, however, later talked to him and it was teased that there are more hidden issues within the compound that could potentially come out in forthcoming episodes.
The episode is concluded and she has to make a tough decision in her life. Should she tell Abhi about Alia and Tanu plotting as it might create huge drama in the family? Or should she hide her time, compile more evidence and risk even greater harm to Abhi and her family?
