In the latest episode of Kundali Bhagya on 12th October 2024, viewers were in for a rollercoaster of emotions as major developments unfolded in the lives of the Luthras. Shaurya, who has been plotting in the shadows for some time, finally revealed his secret plan, which took everyone by surprise.
The episode opened where we had left it with Preeta as usual portraying her bold side. Preeta agrees to face any hurdles that come her way but she will protect his family at all cost. She senses that maybe all is not well with Shaurya and to find the answers she will have to peep into his world. Overheard some of Shaurya’s conversation with nidhi and Preeta gets more suspicious of Shaurya.
The dilemma of command points is that on one hand, she has to protect the family from any threat and danger like a good mother who loves Shaurya but then there is love for her religion. This becomes a slow burn as she tries to find answers without creating any more drama from within the family. Her concern for Karan also leads to the things she does, but she never lets her emotions get the best of her.
And on the other hand, Shaurya is going to use some inhumane acts for his plan. Nidhi, on the other hand, is pretending to be scared of Prithvi and his guilt while working with him to side both against the Luthras. Slowly but steadily, Shaurya also took up his darkest side under the influence of Nidhi. This episode truly explores how far he is willing to take his wrong and selfish deeds by taking hold of LuthraForces because obviously, he feels that he deserves it all but REVENGE!
Shaurya feels that the family is very unappreciative of him because he has always been trying to break out and push his limits. Nidhi is left aghast looking at the extent to which Shaurya can go as she finds out what his hidden motive of buying the property is and this time, even though Nidhi has already proved to be devious, turns surprised.
On the other hand, Karan feels like Shaurya’s behaviour seems off. His fatherly instincts push him to try and reach out to Shaurya, and he wants to patch things up between them. If one takes Karan, he has always come across as a loving daddy and his increasing worry for Shaurya is seen in every scene.
It shows Karan trying to join the dots in front of him throughout the episode but still has no idea about what Shaurya had planned. His depth is shown well in this episode as how he fights or tries to be a loving father and head of the family simultaneously. But as Shaurya continues to push Karan away, his confusion and growing frustration only get more intense.
This episode also reveals Nidhi’s role in playing with Shaurya. The dangerous path that controlled him subtly but firmly. Shaurya believes that he is calling the shots, but we can see that Nidhi is subtly controlling him.
Viewers may feel like Nidhi is hiding something of her own, and while she sides with Shaurya for the moment, her end goal might not be in his best interest. We will probably learn more about her ulterior motives in the coming episodes.
On the other hand, Rakhi who is the mother, and head of Luthra family gets disturbed to see her people in a state of great distress. She does what she can to keep the peace and guard those closest to her, but there is obvious danger in the space. The scene where she talks to Preeta about her fears related to the family’s future was quite relatable as she expresses concerns about Shaurya’s behaviour.
With her maternal instincts kicking in, Rakhi knows something is terribly amiss but she finds herself too helpless to do anything about it. With the family seeming as if they are navigating in different directions during this episode, her vulnerability resonated with the audience when she is clearly trying to keep hold of the family we all know before the storm hits.
The episode also comes to an end with the audience thinking about how Luthras will react when they get to know about the betrayal of Shaurya. Will Preeta be able to stop him in time or will she fail, leaving Shaurya as the new master of the empire? Karan suspects foul play and here Nidhi’s dirty intentions come to power, now the Luthra family is in for a huge face-off.
