Preeta is further confused post this interaction. She so desperately wants to trust her family, but the secrecy creates an unsafe feeling inside of her. As Preeta is shown in her house with all the little hints that she has noticed over the past few days clattering through her head. The late-night telephone calls, the secretive discussions and abrupt shifts of disposition are all clues to something much worse going on behind her back.
The emotional angle comes to the forefront when Preeta is finally able to have a one-on-one with Karan. She tells me about the fear and doubts she has, adding that it feels like nobody understands her. Karan, feeling guilty of having contributed nothing to their love life for ages promises her an improved presence and support through the times. He gives her his word that they will take on whatever battles life throws at them and conquer the world together.
Karan tells Preeta that everything is fine, but she knows nothing can be right. Choosing to investigate, determined not to let it go unsolved. The episode will end with Preeta on fire, she decides to find out the reality at any cost.
