Though Preeta was never again ready to confide in Koran that effortlessly after he double-crossed her, surprisingly enough, Karan lit up when she called later. This episode is Karan reflecting on all of the past mistakes he made and how much they have taught him. He tells his brother Rishabh who advises him to follow his heart. Karan feels emboldened and therefore goes through with his plan fueled by Rishabh backing him up.
Preeta, on the other hand, is still struggling. Between her devotion to Karwi lives and the spectre of broken trust from long-since past. The episode describes the inner confrontation of Preeta where she questions whether it is right to trust Karan again.
Preeta prefers to be with her family, so Sarla uses this opportunity and talks about giving second chances. Sarla says that such opportunities are not given to everyone and believes everything is fair in life once someone goes through hardship only for love. Although this conversation moves Preeta, she fails to decipher if that is enough for her to ever forgive Karan.
While the Luthra family is at loggerheads as usual. In the episodes of today, Rakhi is very emotional as she opens up to Karan’s father Mahesh. Even though Mahesh assures Rakhi she is doing the right thing, he warns that taking a wrong step will push Preeta further away.
In the house, while Karan’s sister Kritika gets more and more fed up with the ongoing family bickering. She feels that all the coming forward and back of Karan Preeta is not at all good for anyone in the house. Kritika, Who did not mince any words however their honesty comes with a dash of substance to the episode as she put forth questions perhaps many would be able to relate.
In today’s episode, Shaurya — Karan and Preeta’s son will play a pivotal part. He knows his parents are mad at each other but he wants to get them back together again anyway. Then Shaurya comes to Karan and expresses his wish that he wants to see his family smiling again. Karan assures his son that he will move the heavens to bring their family back together.
This undoubtedly makes us realise that the kids of Shaurya, his innocence and naive optimism acts as a beacon of hope in this episode showing how even today with so many Divorces happening, the next generation still believe in love and family ties.
The episode ends as Karan takes initiative to win Preeta back. He writes her a long letter about what he screwed up, and how much wants to make it work. Preeta is quite emotional after reading a letter and the screen goes black as she stands still; Watch this space to know more.
