The moment in which you understand the extent of her betrayal to Pari is devastating. Her trust is broken, and the closeness she felt with Neeti seems gone. This scene gives us immense pain of Pari as she goes from disbelief to sad and then angry. And this is a moment that changes kind of everything about how these two characters relate to one another.
But Rajeev is thus herself in between both the brackets. He loves both Pari and Neeti but can not decide whom to choose, he is hurting the most. All through the episode, Rajeev battles guilt as he is aware that only because of him two women who were friends until then are enemies.
The vocabulary of Rajeev as he tries to talk to Pari and express himself in a crucial moment fails. Pari is too broken to hear and Rajeev’s explanations only worsen it. What this confrontation does is a reminder of how layered his character actually is — he’s not merely a villain, but someone torn between two opposing emotions. Yet, his indecision keeps weakening Neeti and Pari yet he is pivotal to the proceeding drama.
In the meantime, Neeti argues in self-defence that to save Rajeev she has given her life. So give them some respect: sometimes love forces people to become something that they are not meant to be, she tells Pari. But with this explanation, Pari is left feeling even more hurt by Neeti — who should have put her feelings to the side and thought of how she decided would devastate a previous lover (7.3).
This last scene of Neeti and Pari is impactful in highlighting the defences both are putting up to justify their actions while coming to terms with what they really caused. This conversation looms over the episode every time, and is one of the most powerful moments in it.
Now it is going to be the toughest moment for Pari after all the confrontations. Will she walk out on Rajeev and Neeti or finally stand up against them with what little right doesn’t cost anything? The episode ends portraying a cliffhanger with the tears in Pari’s eyes indicating that she is going to take some huge decision about her life soon.
Through her internal hell you can still see a light of strength. It is clear to the viewers that Pari is hurt from within yet, she is not one who will just give up. But the final moments of the episode seems to imply that Pari might be about to reclaim her life, no matter how tough and different it will begin.
The episode ends and viewers are left wondering how this love triangle will play out. Pari finally bring herself to address Rajeev about what he did and how it impacted her. Will she tell him the unwanted truth? Or will she walk away from both Neeti as well as Raj accompanied by a mood who cheated on his wife? (only for some time) Looks like the beginning of some serious conflict or Neeti will realize her mistakes and patch up with Pari?
The upcoming episodes will delve deeper into these dynamics as Pari, Neeti and Rajeev — the breadwinner of this family in his own mind at least— experience fallouts from their decisions. It seems evident that the saga is far from over, and emotions would be on an all-time high.
