In today’s episode of Parineeti (16th October 2024), the deepening rift between Neeti and Pari took centre stage, leaving viewers emotional and anxious for what lies ahead. The episode begins with a very sombre vibe at the Bajwa house. In all of this Pari is also not able to control her feelings and tells Neeti how she feels. Pari takes days to gather her courage and actually fully snaps at Neeti. Even though she reveals that her feelings were so much harder than they realised, but on the other hand confirms that she never planned to betray anyone.
Neeti is already fraught from the news of the recent episode and this hardly eats anything for her. She accuses Pari of being manipulative and treacherous; Her anger feels almost like an animal betrayed by a person. They both head on with a heated argument spewing poison out of Neeti into Pari trying to spoil their friendship and she soon leaves the party. Pari, in return tells her that she never tried to hurt Neeti; everything was imagined circumstances becoming out of power.
For long-time fans of the two that watch their friendship, it was a gut-punch. It seemed like the bond had been torn down after those harsh words of neeti and emotional break up on Pari’s end.
Caught between the 2 ladies, yet again Rajeev is stuck. Neeti fires at Pari and Rajeev rushes to intervene. But his presence only further muddles the waters. Neeti says he only listens to Pari, angering her more. Rajeev did not speak a word, leaving him clueless as to what he should be doing.
It is plain to see that Rajeev has now become tangled in his own web and caught between loving both Neeti & Pari. Indeed, he is too peaceful and the accumulating tension in him seems to be blowing-up any day! Rajeev’s silence today was deafening and many fans must be now speculating on how Rajeev will face his wife with the fallout of her newfound friendship.
But today’s episode even showed how insecure Neeti has become. Pari is laying her cards on the table and she knows it, but Deepti bristles at this fact as if Pari has backed her into a corner instead of the other way around — because for all that confidence in knowing who you are doesn’t add up to much when you’re afraid your husband might leave. Neeti is highly strung and she feels everyone in her life has back-stabbed her. It has always been weeks worth of insecurities and misunderstandings that have led to this confrontation with Pari today.
After this revelation, Neeti loses her faith in both Rajeev and Pari because of which her bond may be affected forever. Her lack of forgiveness and acceptance for what Pari did to her has left her in an emotionally impossible place, making it pretty damn hard right now.
In all of this cacophony between Neeti and Pari majorly, a very worldly Simi also decided to join the party. Like always Simi leaves no chance in stoking the fire to instigate Neeti further making sarcastic remarks. Jaya gets involved, and things go from bad to worse threatening Neeti beyond the point of return. The script, then, makes Rajeev and Pari try to maintain their cool while yanking the audience into more dread than Simi’s words can do.
Looks like Simi’s character is going to be the troublemaker in the Bajwa house and today was no different. Now fans are just getting annoyed with her interjections all the time and how it really looks like she wants to drive a wedge into everyone fucking thing.
The episode concludes on a cliffhanger with Neeti returning and walking out of the room leaving Pari shattered while Rajeev can do nothing to help. We have a feeling the rift between these two won’t be mended any time soon. The upcoming episodes of MUMBAI DIARIES are sure to catch the audience as Neeti’s resentment piles up with Rajeev opening out his silence and Pari deep drenched in guilt only for a major emotional burst.
The promo of the next episode hints at Neeti taking a major step that might change her relationship with both Pari and Rajeev forever.
