This episode centered around the growing tension between the two, with new twists testing their bond of friendship. The episode started with Neeti getting more exasperated than ever. As she is coming to terms with how she feels about Rajeev, the fact that Pari is still a significant part of his life just makes things worse. We saw Neeti having an outburst in today’s episode as she lashed at Pari for getting too close to Rajeev and hence spoiling their relationship.
This scene illustrated just how complex were Neeti’s feelings. Though she accepts Pari as a friend and looks after her, but it’s the ever increasing romantic tension of Rajeev with Pari that is building a wall for Roshni, which now seems near impossible to tear down. She was understandably very frustrated and viewers could tell that it has been wearing on her mentally/emotionally.
While Pari struggles with her loyalty to Neeti and the unresolved emotions she feels for Rajeev. Today elucidated viewers on the plights of Pari, how conflicted she is and excited to watch what’s next for her. She does not want to harm Neeti but with Rajeev she still feels bonded and this is chaos for all.
Pari is always shown as one who tries to maintain the silent harmony between her relationships and become a peacekeeper. But, that did come at an emotional cost to her — and we learned about the toll this whole situation is taking on Ziegler in today’s episode. Pari means well, but she’s getting caught up in the complicated overlap of friendship and love.
Rajeev remains a sore point in Neeti and Pari’s lives This is causing a rift between him and the two women that only expands after each episode. Well, in today’s episode Rajeev trying to sort everything out has only created ‘more’ issues.
To elaborate his feelings amidst Neeti and Pari, Rajeev was showcased as a man with too much indecisiveness in this era. The thing is, he appears torn for real but was on the fence between two women and that is why it has been hurting them both. We see he is only driving the fuels of collateral damage uncontrollably since we know what, unbeknownst to him, will not have us moving toward any solution.
It also involved the first appearance of his family. A protective mother of Neeti chimes in expressing her apprehension to Rajeev’s behaviour. She is of the opinion that Rajeev is having his way with both Neeti and Pari emotionally, She confronts him on this in today’s episode and asks him to choose one.
Now, with a spat between them over what happened (as one does), it seems Neeti’s mother is on the verge of doing something drastic. Her anger and protectiveness might make it increasingly difficult for Neeti & Pari to control their emotions given that they are barely managing at this point.
As the episode progressed, it looked as though Neeti and Pari might be pushing their relationship to breaking point. The love triangle involving Rajeev will sour their friendship, and while the two women have always been there for each other in the past, they remain on borrowed breath. The resentment that Neeti is harbouring and the feeling of guilt within Pari are creating distance between them.
One of the pivotal confrontations in an episode features Neeti demanding that Pari choose between their friendship and Rajeev.
