The episode opens with Dua arguing with Haider over how he has been handling his family lately. Dua, as always, wants to make it right, but now Hira can hardly guess what they are doing.
Dua’s always been standing on her principles and today only strengthens that. Determined not to lose the wealth she has always been working towards and protecting her family even with odds stacked against her. She knows that Haider is hiding something and in this episode we see her conflicted between wanting to get to the bottom of things & risking damage to their bond.
The friction between Dua and Haider forms the beginning of a series of disputes that will almost certainly come to define their lives, as Dua finds more red flags pointing to Asim and must make tough decisions.
Meanwhile, Haider is conflicted emotionally. Over the episode, viewers get a taste of his tortured soul. Even though it’s clear he loves Dua, you have to wonder if something is really lurking beneath the surface that he isn’t telling us just yet. Haider’s silence and distance add to the tension, questioning what he is hiding and how it will impact his forthcoming rapport with Dua.
This episode again excels in painting Haider’s vulnerability, making his decisions cryptic but borne out of the intent to protect his family. But the fact that he cannot open up these burdens with Dua is gradually getting Anwar away from her.
Gazal, on the other hand, is just being Gazal and playing her evil movies. We will know more once the real game begins since her ultimate aim is to weaken Dua within the family and place herself in a stronger position to get closer to Haider. On today’s podcast, Gazal uses the key traitors to spread doubt on Dua as he casts his web.
The get-go Gazal has been shown like she will be the one Villain being present in the show, and this episode particularly portrays her the same. She is crafty, and her sneaky efforts to make it seem like Dua has some kind of ulterior motive create doubt in the minds of others. Gazal’s deception in the series does not seem to be completed with it and it seems like she is not stopping any time soon, thus Gazal will ignite the air between Haider and Dua.
The silver lining of the episode is none other than Haider’s father, Rahat, who dons his wise old man hat. Knowing what the tension is about to rise in the family, Rahat supports Dua emotionally when she needs him. During an emotional talk, Rahat advises Dua to remain strong and not lose faith in the strength of truth. Dua thanks him and she therefore has the courage to continue to fight for what is fair.
The one character that always calms everything down,Rahat just gives Dua the emotional boost to take her stand. He brings an air of tranquillity to what is an otherwise, for the most part, pretty tense episode and it looks like he’s going to be instrumental in helping Dua get through the difficulties ahead.
The episode concludes on a cliffhanger, as Dua unearths an astonishing finding that might alter the course of her struggle to seek justice. And just when she is about to open her heart out in front of Haider, Gazal intervenes (which obviously means a big drama coming up)….
This episode was filled with some serious emotion, but also raised a good bit of suspense leaving us all going OH NO! What happens next in the story? The clash between Dua and Haider, Gazal’s ever changing schemes as well as Rahat’s writing allowed the narrative to be comfortably unreeling itself.
