Todayโs episode of Rabb Se Hai Dua (30th September 2024) was packed with drama and emotional moments that left viewers questioning what might come next. As always, the series delivered on its promise to keep the audience hooked, and todayโs episode was no exception.
Dua is in a bit of a pickle at the opening of this episode. There is pressure on her from within the family as well as from inside her circle. Dua feels like an outcast since Haider remains cold as ever. This episode has Dua being confronted with the truth and her raw emotions on display.
Her interactions with Haider are few yet speak volumes. For me, it is when Haider canโt think of anything other than his own issues, but does not realise or acknowledge what Dua is going through. You can tell there is model-like poise holding back a dam as she does her best to not punch through the screen in exasperation.
This scene captured Duaโs ever-growing loneliness in her marriage โ an issue that the show has been exploring deeply lately. Its relatability and the realism of her emotions, makes this be a pretty effective episode for anyone watching.
Gazal persists in trying to break Dua and Haider apart. Her manipulation is even more on display in this episode. Subtly playing victim, she attempts to cause Haider and Dua more complications. Yeah-gazal moving smartly in a powerful position and must be prevailing.
This also reflected on Gazal not being a pushover in this episode. The way her dialogues and actions are executed; it seems she has planned everything strategically, which out-ranks as a unpredictable character. Taahir is filling Haiderโs heart with baseless suspicions, and as she sows more seeds of doubt in him, Dua seems to be falling on weaker grounds.
The audience is left wondering if Gosai can see through Gazalโs conspiracy or Gazal for that matter, stoop any lower in her relations with Haider.
That being said, Dua certainly possesses incredible strength here โ despite the odds. She does not relent on her views and we observe her standing up in the most daring way possible against the adversity being faced by her. This is one of the most notable scenes in the episode, as Dua will not be cast as a victim and she refuses to identify herself that way.
Her conversation when, finally, she decides to question Haider on why he seems so distant with her, is a pivotal scene in the episode. These arenโt groundbreaking confessions but it is an honesty that we have been receiving for the first time in sale, presumably to tip us off on some kind of resolution. As a result She is let down by Haiderโs cold response and we can say that He increases more emotional turmoil in her life.
Shiv also has a backbone as hard as iron, and this just reinforces what we already knew about her. But her one step to save-pride of her marriage shows how much she loves Haider.
The family stuff in this officiating all created an additional wrinkle in the story. The familyโs elders, especially Dadi, are getting worried about the rising alacrity between Dua and Haider. While Dadi is telling her to have hope and give more time to her relationship, it is clearly visible that Dua is running out of options.
This discussion highlighted a common theme in the show โ family values go hand-in-hand with every response. The advice of the elders and the expectations in their minds regarding the well-being of Dua, intensify her predicament.
The last episode ends on a terse note. Dua facing off with Haider ends on a cliffhanger and Gazal is still plotting her next move. The episode ends on an ambiguous note, leaving the viewers yearning to know what will happen next. Could Duaโs strength save their relationship or will Gazal manage to manipulate everything in her favor?
Thereโs already more drama set to play out in future episodes and the episode touches on that. So whether Duaโs thick and thin will show that it is ready for the fight to save her marriage, Gazal seems increasingly; with a ring from Haider still to be seen in any eventuality!? Fans of the show are then left to speculate if things will take a turn for the better or go from bad to worse inDiaโs current relationship.
We hope that as the story moves forward, it presents to us more of such bonding and emotional moments in Rabb Se Hai Dua.
