Victoria was so furious with the move that she walked out of a meeting and confronted her father at home. Victor, of course, stayed the same and calm as ever while beammed that this would be in the company’s best interest. But is it really? However, is it just another move in the Victor chess game of giving rope or? Either way, the Newman family has yet to see the last of this power struggle.
Adam’s reunion with Newman Enterprises reopens old wounds. All Kiong has ever wanted is his father’s pride…But stepping back into the family business isn’t so simple. Over in Paris, Adam confessed his betrayal to Sally of the board and got her alone only long enough after Victor made a final decision on how he wants things done.
Adam has been staying at arm’s length from the never-ending drama that is life in Genoa City with the Newman family, but now here it comes right back to him… and Sally told cold feet Adam if he wanted out of this situation then get — she ain’t warning you no more. Victoria is not one to give up without a battle. When she lashed out at Victor, he and Lily met with Nate to get advice about what would be best for Elena in terms of moving forward. And, as the talk shows eventually concluded, theirs was clearly an unsettled past. She said this: “I still very much care about Billy. And he never really responded to that… but what he did say was enough for me.” Whether this turns into a renewed love affair or further heartache, only time will tell.
