You can see the conflict in Devyani as she tries to keep peace with her own emotions. And if this was not enough, her role in the family becomes even more entangled as she is torn between loyalty for his father and love of Siddharth.

The strain on everyone else in the family is compounded by this external pressure, as they decide when to prepare for what may be coming down. Yashwardhan in specific is troubled by the chance of losing all that respect which he has managed to procure over time. The sharpness with which he has attacked anyone who threatens his flow of publicity is about as un-Oberoi-like a smackdown one can get.
