This is a revelation that will obviously lead to later episodes with Mishka; alas, the actual point of her arrival has not been hit just yet, it seems.
This episode, with Preesha coming out in full form to save her family. She knows in her gut that Mishka coming back means there must be something sinister going on, and she starts to focus more on seeing just what mishka is really doing. While Preesha exhibits her protective nature and intelligence as she grills Mishka about why she has suddenly returned.
The confrontation between Preesha and Mishka is a tense one, with both women taking digs at each other in an underhanded manner. Preesha as per her polished console but in reality, seems to be far off from trusting Mishka even for a single moment. A limited small scale battle of the wits adds some fun flavour to an episode that displays a simple journey of two people trying to find meaning in their silent lives.
On the other hand, a muted Saransh is the protagonist caught in the midst of it all. He can sense the tension between his parents and he knows something is going on with Mishka, but none of it really makes sense to him. There are some great teary moments with him when he’s confused and concerned.
As Saransh struggles to find his way in the house, one thing is pretty clear: The situation is weighing heavily on him. The scenes of him with Preesha here clearly show how everyone has a special bond with one another wherein she is seen consoling him by stating everything will be fine but her plan saves Anvi only. It is these heartfelt serene asides between mother and son that kindle an air of geniality in the ensuing drama.
The 17th September 2024 episode of Yeh Hai Chahatein ends on a cliffhanger as Mishka’s true intentions are still unclear. Although she is new leaf, preesha is also falling prey on by her and it looks like the truth can reveal anytime soon
