On the 8th September 2024 episode of Yeh Hai Chahatein, plot twisted within Khurana family. In the last episode of season 1 โ Meera, just misses a shot and escapes alive from Nityaโs evil plan and her qualms. Nitya had hired a contract killer, Kailash who was going to kill Meera but Kaashvi came in and saved her life. And Kaashvi upon learning about Nitya, overheard his plan and confronted Kailas after which she knocked him off before handing him to the police.

She decided she would not let her brother behind the bars at any costProbably! She set out to reunite the estranged duo. On the other hand, when Nitya got to know that Kailash had been arrested in connection with her attack and he could tell of his being hired by a lady-goonda she began feeling jittery.
However, Karun admitted to Meera that he hates Kaashvi because apparently she did not let him stay with Arjun. But Meera smelt a rat that was at work behind Karunโs hatred (she felt Kaashvi could be innocent).
The subplot โ Mahima landed in ublicur because Nitya blackmailed her saying if she doesnt help and get Kailash released, she will call the cops. Although Mahima refused at first, she was blackmailed with her biggest dark secret and had to do it.
As revelations continued on the show, Romila and Dadi uncovered Mahimaโs true agenda but as always left us with high suspense while family was seen preparing for Meeraโs baby shower celebration.
