Abhinav has a heart-to-heart conversation with his best friend Kairav and reveals that he is keeping a Big Truth from Akshara. Kairav tells him to confess and says truth is the thing that stands between two people.. And, that little convo absolutely foreshadows โthe most dramatic moment in the episode.
The peak of it is when Abhinav finally gets up the nerve to speak to Akshara. Desperate for money to keep his business afloat, he comes clean in a tearful soliloquy: the deal had gone south and with it all of their savings. Perhaps he still had a bit of pride, for this was something deep and dark that he locked away in his heart hoping to fix it by himself.That anything changed there is amusingriratoes or perhaps sad.
Finding this out stuns Akshara. The news smashes into her, and she flounders trying to digest it. She is extremely disturbed and has lost faith in Abhinav. The scene is intense and raw as Akshara starts to realize the extent of her betrayal, but mostly fear for she has been misled for a very long time followed by anger.
At first, Akshara can only say: He had always been a support to her; the one person she knew that would never let her fall and is yet doing so, it broke numerous pieces of Shilpa. It is heartbreaking for her to find out he had been hiding something so big all along. Her pain manifests in her eyes, asking why on earth he didnโt have the confidence she wouldnโt leave him airing his problems to add injury.
When Abhinav tries to tell that he did not want Shivani to worry or get stressed, his words fall on deaf ears. In the film, Aksharaโs emotions are in turmoil and she cannot believe that the person standing before her is someone whom she knew so well all along. Just like that, a simple scene to show the fragility of trust; how easily it is broken.
Towards the end of another episode, Akshara is thinking on her own as usual. The silent hush that replaces the usually boisterous and upbeat spirit of the Goenka family. This revelation has obviously driven a wedge into their relationship that will not be easy to heal.
