On Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 19th October, emotions are high between Abhimanyu and Akshara as they move through the ups and downs of family life. It was an emotional turbulence of sorts, as they had some heart-to-hearts and tough choices to make that raised the stakes even higher on where their once relationship could be headed towards.
The episode begins with Akshara feeling hassled by all the building up stress in the Goenka house. Recent events with Abhir and Ruhi makes it evident that the couple is quite stretched when it comes to deciding what will be best for their kids. Akshara and Abhimanyu are both shielding their children from learning the weight of emotions, due to circumstances they know must hurt them if opened; but very fast into this episode we realise it cannot be avoided for too long.
As a solution seeker Abhimanyu approaches Akshara to talk about what they should do next. He advises them to take drastic steps for the sake of family peace but Akshara is in two minds. With a war brewing under their roof, she is torn between preserving her kidsโ childhood while taking the fight against something that threatens to tear them apart.ย
Beneath the stoic surface of their conversation, you can sense tensions simmering and boiling with two different parents competing for serenity while still just seeking something that vaguely resembles happiness in a mess where every interaction is laced with passive aggression.
One of the best parts from todayโs episode was a raw conversation between Akshara and her son, Abhir. Abhir: Absolutely right Abhir, who is an emotionally intelligent child, notices the tension in the family. He directly questions his mother if she is having a problem with Abhimanyu.
Akshara comforts Abhir as best she could but breaking the heart, is all that her frown seemed speaking. It is heartfelt, to say the least and at that moment we see realisation dawn over Aksharaโฆ just how much does her son comprehend and also realise itโs getting a tad more complicated to hide things from him. This is a beautiful depiction of mother-son relationship where we see how Akshara wants to protect her child but also the realization phase which she moves into.
Meanwhile, Ruhi will be going through some emotional turmoil. She can pick up on the subtle shifts in how things work in our family and she feels left out of that decision-making process. Ruhi shares with Aarohi in a heart-to-heart about how scared she is of the future and if things will ever be normal again.
Even though Aarohi tries to play the mature mother there, telling her daughter not to worry but she internally herself is worried about how things are moving between Akshara and Abhimanyu. Aarohi: A more practical yet protective character who has a major dichotomy in her role within the family She is well aware that the discord between Akshara and Abhimanyu has not only affected their children but also to her family.
And, in a later part of the episode, Goenka and Birla families sit together to decide next steps as incidents are getting uglier. Itโs clear that both families have the best intentions toward what is right for their children but this scenario only adds more friction because of different opinions on how to deal with it.
The head of the Goenka clan โ Manish Goenka steps in to mediate and asks everyone to settle their differences aside for a moment, reminding them about how it is important that they keep kids first before anything else. However things get heated and Abhimanyu is in confrontation with Aarohi since she feels that him n Akshara are coming their personal problems ahead of united family,
This argument sets things up for the remaining episodes to find out how this family is going to reconcile their differences and push through.
The episode ends with Abhimanyu and Akshara sitting in their rooms together thinking about the family meeting that took place. They are emotionally overwhelmed and then recognize something, not just for themselves but also for the sake of their children they have to make a tough life choice
Akshara says maybe they can go out for some peace and a little time off from the family chaos to think. Though Abhimanyu adds that he can see himself doing exactly this at the same time, he knows it will be a difficult proposition to actually let go entirely. Their marriage has reached a point of no return and the choices they make now will determine their fate as parents.
Ending the episode, speculation about Akshara and Abhimanyu keeps torn into what will happen next. Can they weather the upcoming hurdles, or will it fracture them further apart?
All said and done, Akshara-Abhimanyuโs story has some more hurdles to face and it is only going to break your hearts even further in the coming days. The remaining story will have more drama, soul-touching moments and big twists that are going to change the lives of Goenka-Birla families.
Overall, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a show that still manages to keep its fans glued with the deep emotional relationships and family bondings it represents in the most beautiful way possible.Officially one of my favourite episodes which will leave all Akshara-Abhimanyu fans more intrigued about whatโs waiting in their lives.
